We are particularly excited about Blackstone U1797 who is from exclusively Blackmore Wagyu bred genetics and cow families with an astounding amount of sire and dam carcass data behind him!

U1797’s dam is a full brother to the Blackmore N932 bull. N932 is now David’s highest average Marble Score bull ever at 9.84 on 80 carcasses. The following is David Blackmore’s comments on N932.

“Blackmore Kinufuku N932 has been bred to have outcross pedigree to be used in our breeding program. It produced carcass results above expectations with 80 sired carcasses averaging our highest average MS 9.84. His sire, Blackmore Kinufuku C182 has the highest MS GEBV at +3.0, far exceeding all the Japanese imported bulls (Michifuku MS +1.1). This was an ideal cross for Blackmore Kinufuku N932’s dam, Blackmore Chiyoyuki F039 (GEBV HCW +18.99) who was ideally bred to be a large cow with her sire line being ltozurudoi 151 (GEBV HCW +6.90), ltoshigefu]i 147 (GEBV HCW +17.2), Yukiharunami 4 (GEBV HCW +20.7) and ltohana 2 (GEBV HCW +5.5). Blackmore Kinufuku N932 is a structurally correct medium sized bull with a good balance of GEBVs”

K733 is one of the best all-round carcass proven sires from the world renowned Blackmore Wagyu herd. Very limited K733 genetics have been released from the Blackmore program making his genetics especially rare and highly valued. He excels in ribeye area and marbling with a balance of moderate birth weight and positive growth traits. With thousands of carcasses processed through the Blackmore herd and in their genetic evaluation K733 has come out on top as one of the best!

"Chiyofuku K733’s dam Chiyotake Y377, is one of our outstanding proven bull mothers, being dam of Chiyozakura F349, Chiyohana F340 and Dai Ichi Yasuchiyo G615. Chiyofuku K733’s pedigree contains three of the best known sires used for improving eye muscle are (EMA); Michifuku, Itozurudoi 151 and Itoshigenami 148. In our genomics research, eye muscle area (EMA) has the highest carcass trait heritability at 0.59. EMA affects the two most expensive cuts in the carcass; the cube roll and the striploin, and is the main area of significance when comparing our Wagyu beef against the Japanese produced Wagyu beef. The Japanese is still much larger. Combined with a high marbling score (MS) GEBV, Chiyofuku K733 is an elite plus rated bull for EMA at +16.45 GEBV."
